中国古代钱币之一。北宋徽宗政和年间（公元1111年～公元1117年）铸造。“通宝”有小平，折二型铜钱及折三型铁钱，对钱，有数十种之多，篆书，隶书二种书体。特色之处是隶书中杂有楷意，有时也称作楷书。小平铜钱存世量大，版别复杂，变化多在“政”和“通”上。铁钱铸造量极大，现在存世较多。另有珍罕的银质“政和通宝”，古泉大珍。“政和重宝”为折二钱，楷书，钱文瘦金体，直读光背，径3厘米，传世以折二重宝铁母数种珍品
