Among all the Longyang silver coins (including all the silver coins issued abroad) in China this dragon picture is the most exquisite in craftsmanship the most perfect in carving and the strongest in relief. The mirror surface is smooth and the relative inertia line of the decoration is very clear. This Yunnan-made Guangxu Yuan Bao has a history of several hundred years so its overall color appears rusty copper yellow giving a sense of dignified vicissitudes of life. Nevertheless the design of the coin surface is still intact. The reverse outer circle of the coin is engraved with a few small letters in regular script "Yunnan Provincial Treasury Level 3.6" while the inner circle is clearly visible with the four characters "Guangxu Yuanbao".
