粮票，是在特定经济时期发放的一种购粮凭证。在粮食紧缺的年代，无论什么粮食，都必须凭粮票才能购买，而且每家每户还是限量供应。建国后各个阶段，也分别发行过不同的粮票。一直到粮票停止使用。
1966年版的全国通用粮票也存在着有水印和无水印两种版别。不同的是半斤和一斤均没有水印版，而五斤这枚因水印图案不同又衍生成大小实心五角星和空心五角星加麦穗两种版别。
