所谓猪宝，就是猪胆囊、胆管、肝管等中的结石，形状呈椭圆形，巨细纷歧，外表呈浅黄色，或灰玄色的，外貌粗拙，长着两三厘米长的毛。被有些有些山区农村人称之猪宝，又叫猪砂，用途很大，医用价值很高。猪砂始载于《本草纲目》，为猪胃肠中的结石，具镇惊化痰、清热解毒之功，主治惊痫癫狂、痰热内盛、神志昏迷、恶疮肿毒及失血等。猪砂为我国传统中医材。其效等同“牛黄”，黄金有价，牛黄无价。医学专家和老中医均指出，猪砂确实有用价值，但因为不能批量生产，很少有中医在临床中开这方。自然喂养形成的猪砂收购价格也一度被炒到比黄金高。

At one time the purchase price of pig's sand formed by natural feeding was also higher than that of gold.
いわゆるブタの宝、ブタの胆嚢、胆管、肝臓の管などの中の結石で、形は楕円形を呈して、大きさは一様でなくて、うわべは浅黄色を呈して、あるいは灰色の黒色の、外見は粗くて拙で、2、3センチメートルの長い毛を成長しています。一部の山岳地帯の農村では豚の宝と呼ばれ、また豚の砂と呼ばれています。用途が大きく、医療用価値が高いです。豚の砂は「本草綱目」に始まり、豚の胃腸の結石のために、鎮驚痰、熱解毒の功を備えています。主治医は癲癇病、痰熱内盛、神志昏睡、悪瘡腫毒、失血などを驚かします。豚の砂はわが国の伝統的な漢方薬である。その効果は「牛黄」に等しく、金は価値があり、牛黄は価格がない。医学専門家と漢方医はいずれも、豚砂は確かに有用な価値があると指摘していますが、大量生産ができないため、臨床の中でこの処方を開く漢方医は少ないです。自然に育て上げられた豚砂の買い付け価格も、一時は黄金より高く炒められました。
